the cessna 500 fanjet was produced beginning in 1969. this original model has led to the development of a large family of variants and sub types.

the c560 is the citation v and was a lengthened version of the citation ii. it is the longest in the straight wing family of citations. it had larger jt15d-5a engines. it also has ****pit improvements with efis instrumentation. it first flew in 1987 and 262 have been built. it was superseded in 1994. this version os also the basis of the u-35a and the t-47 military jets.
