this is an example of a real operation.
it should be considered as one of the options for prosthetics.
the shape and geometry of the implant can be used as a sample for similar operations.
this prosthesis is designed to replace the left tmj.

it consists of the following parts::
* prosthetic condylar process (ti6al4v);
* joint cavity prosthesis (high molecular weight polyethylene):

the surface of the prosthesis adjacent to the branch of the lower jaw is made porous to improve primary stability and subsequent osseointegration
the joint cavity prosthesis is fixed by fixing it with screws. in the places chosen by the surgeon.

the design takes into account the following features:
* the condyle process will be removed
* the articular cavity of the upper jaw is pre-treated
